### Step 1

1. Startup / Login [[Windows 10 Operating System|Windows 10]] 2. Open [[Windows Command Prompt]]

### Step 3

Keyboard Type:

Filename
If press ‘Enter’ then default is:
ssh ed25519 private filename: id_ed25519
ssh ed25519 public filename: id_ed25519.pub

Save Location
Saved in the User directory in the .ssh folder

## Step 4

Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase):
Enter same passphrase again:

If you wish to ALSO use a password.
